All vehicles parked at own risk.The Owners/Management of Oppiberg Guest House are not liable or do not accept any responsibility for any lost, stolen or damage done to any guest’s property. Any damage to the property or its content should be reported immediately upon arrival to Owners/ Management. Failing to do so, guests will be held liable for any damage to the property or content. The Owners/Management’s private residence is off limit for any guest.

Safety:

For the safety of all our guests, the following applies:
Please make sure you lock all doors (front, kitchen, sliding and bedroom door) of the Guest House during the day and especially at night. Unauthorized persons/visitors are not allowed on the premises.Only guests whose names appear on the invoice will be permitted on the Guest House premises. Any unauthorized persons that was not originally booked and paid for will be fined at a premium rate of R 420 per person.

Our guests safety is our top priority and should you not comply with these rules, guests will be expected to settle the FULL account and leave the premises immediately.

Children under 12 will be charged R 210 per child per night.
Children under 1 year stay for free.
A deposit of 50% needs to be made to confirm your booking. We work strictly on a first come first serve basis and will not be able to guarantee your booking until payment has been made.

There will be a deposit of R 500 payable to cover any breakages or lost keys. This deposit will be paid back to you as soon as the house has been checked after your departure. (Within 5 working days) This deposit must be payed via EFT before checking in.

Please take note of our cancellation policy.
If you would like to cancel your booking with us you will have to do so a month in advance to ensure full reimbursement of your booking deposit.
If cancellation occurs 2 to 3 weeks before date of arrival only 50% of the booking deposit will be reimbursed.
Cancellation  a week or less before the date of arrival will result in forfeiting the booking deposit.   Only cancellations via e-mail will be accepted.  

Self catering:
Oppiberg Guest House will only be available for self catering upon occupancy of the whole house by one group of guests. A minimum stay of 1 night is required. Long weekends and Public holidays minimum 2 nights stay. Please note, cleaning (ONLY making of beds and washing of dishes) will be done from 9 - 10 in the morning. ANY OTHER DUTIES must be paid separately and discussed in advance with management. These duties will be for the bill of the guests.

Upon leaving, guest will be expected to leave the house in the same condition as on arrival. If guests do not comply with these conditions, additional charges will occur.

Braai facilities:
Braai facilities are only available for PAYING guests booked in at Oppiberg Guest House.

Laundry facilities:
We do not provide laundry facilities to any guests.

Toilets:
No cigarette buds, cotton buds, tampons, sanitary pads or any other material, other than toilet paper, may be flushed down the toilet. Charges will occur for any blockage.

Insurance:
We strongly recommend that all clients be insured against possible cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, loss or theft of personal belongings etc.
